JD has progressed his riding to new levels thanks to the shape and construction of the Relapse.
JD Webb has been crushing it this season and one of the factors has to be his new Pro Model Wakeboard, the Relapse! Over the years JD and Butch have worked closely to create the best wake riding machine and this is hands down the greatest shape these two have produced. Classic 3-Stage Rocker blended ever so slightly delivers the best in pop on any wake size and the sleek molded-in fins give you the option to customize your ride. Add the center fin for more hold through the top of the wake or remove and enjoy a loose feel and early release into your favorite spins. Butch’s Single Concave Base design provides a speedy ride throughout and soft landings after big airs. The super thin profile equals minimal swing weight and the Relapse is by far JD’s favorite wakeboard to date!
Shaun Murray and Greg Nelson agree that a solid foundation greatly increases a rider’s learning curve. Hyperlite introduces the Baseline, shaped specifically for creating that base and solid foundation. The Baseline has wider overall profile built atop a continuous rocker, delivering a smooth carving board that gets more pop off the wake due to its increased surface area.
Wakeboarding is the only board sport where your shoulders and hips are not always parallel with each other. This innovative Vault recognizes that your body is crossed up riding toeside, and more inline riding heelside, and every design aspect of this board takes this into consideration for the proper building block of wakeboarding.
This truly is the board for every type of rider. The continuous rocker provides smooth edging and predictable kick off the wake. Molded-in side fins track and hold with minimal drag while the variable edge offers the extra friendliness while learning new tricks. Remove the center fir for the more advanced aggressive rider and you have a board for all abilities. From beginner to top pro, this board will keep the smile on your face and some gas money in your pocket.
Shaun Murray is releasing his 20th Pro Model edition in Hyperlite’s 25th anniversary season, simply named; The Murray. Countless hours on the water have lead Shaun to this shape and the feedback has been mind-blowing. The Murray shape begins with a Subtle 3-Stage Rocker, there is no flat spot, the rocker simply increases under foot for a colossal boost of the wake.
Freeriding has never looked so good; channel your inner Dog Dayz with the Vagabond.
Trever Maur has carried on the west coast ride style but his first ever pro model, the Vagabond, was shaped from his riding experiences across the globe. Trever demanded a deck that would carve freely helping him link tricks and dig deep while slashing the wake, hello Continuous Rocker. He also likes to build his edge gradually as he nears the wake. The Vagabond is the first board to feature Fell Length Curved Flow Channels (CFC). The CFC’s pull the board’s primary edge deeper into the water on approach to the wake maximizing a rider’s pop. Between the inserts the Vagabond’s rail is shaped with a 8 degree bevel for forgiveness on wakes and on rails but near the board’s tip and tail the rail shape sharpens increasing edge hold. Exiting the Vagabond is a single Concave Gate adding a bit of boost to the board’s pop and optimizing tracking.
